    Hi, I've never really been able to use the VI properly since day one. I think i'm missing alot of patches on the VI. When i Go to -> String Patches -> Violin Solo -> 01 SHORT + LONG NOTES. All i get is 01-VI Staccato, 02-VI Detache Short, 03 VI Detache Long Vib 10 Sus and 14Sus Vib unlike what i've seen in the tutorial video. this happens to about every other instruments in the library. For example my Violins Orchestra under SHORT + LONG, I only have patches 2,3,10,12,16,18.

    Am i missing a whole lot of files. I should have the standard, extended and appasionata string. I've run the directory manager several times and restarted right after. I have 36 solo violin .dat files in the sample folder and 28 .dat files in the Violins Orch Sample folder.  Is there something wrong here??

    OSX 10.4.6, Logic 7.2.3, VI 1.14

    Hi Anton. You have the right number of .dat files for the two libraries, but it would appear that maybe you didn't buy (or having bought, didn't correctly register) the extended versions of Solo Strings and Orchestral Strings I. (The extended versions have to be registered separately.) The patches you mention are all from their standard libraries, but the patches from the extended libraries (which have a little 'L2' suffix after their names) are missing from your list. The samples for the extended versions are already installed on your hard drive, so it's just a question of 'unlocking' them.

    Hello Anton,

    just checked your registrations - you have registered the Standard Libraries for your collections only.

    If you have purchased the Extended Libraries as well (which makes a lot of sense, as you were upgrading), you must have received a pdf containing your Extended Library Serial Numbers.

    If not, please write an email to support@vsl.co.at with the information where and when you purchased your collections and we will have a look at it!
