Problem with library installation(urgent)

Hello,It´s my first post.
Just received my solo strings today.I´m recording and want to replace some motu symphonic strings that I don´t like(it is urgent).But I can´t open library installation.I hope I can use vsl on the album.I use a Dual 2.0 G5 with digital performer.

Is it the Symphonic Cube or the Horizon Series Solo Strings for EXS/Giga? Which is the error you are receiving? This would help immensely in order to give you more specific advice!

It is the Symphonc Cube.And the problem is that I can not open Library installer.
I downloaded Vienna Instruments Software Installer OS X PPC 1.10 and did not
solved the problem.C´mon I need to make music...it is the first time that a problem
like this happens to me.Installing motu virtual instruments it´s so much easier,but
I don´t like the sound of motu symphonic´s strings so help me please I want to work.

if you have installed the software version 1.1 then you should find in your application folder the *library installer*. run this and you will be asked to point to the package.info file, which resides on DVD #1. after a while you will be asked to change DVD to #2, ect.
in case you receive an errormessage like *cannot read file* it is highly probable your DVD-drive runs too hot during installing the gigabytes of data and is loosing track - then you could copy (step by step) the files to a location on your harddisk and run the installer from there.

btw: it might be good idea to check and if needed repair the permissions on your system volume using the disk utility anyway ...

fact:I am an idiot.I was trying to run library installer from the DVD and It was supose to run from the upgrade.Anyway it is running and I am happy.
I m going to be part of the VSL family.
