  • What does the "L" stand for in instrument names?

For example I have names like "VC-8L_oV_sus" as opposed to "VC-8_oV_2s."

Couldn't find an answer in the manual.

  • L = looped instrument

For the ensemble strings and brass sustains there are only looped versions, for the soloinstruments you have looped and unlooped versions,
therefore you have a dedicated LOOPED categorie in the gigfile.

For the ensembles the "L" is placed after the section size label:

    KB-6L, TR-3L

for soloinstruments the "L" is placed after the instrument shortname:

    OB-L, TU-L
