  • Suggestion for a new "Basic" instrument

    Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone else thinks it's a good idea to have, for every "basic" instrument, another "full basic" instrument with all velocities and all the detail of the main instruments. It would have the same keyswitches.

I think this would save a lot of time for those of us who use the basic instruments initially, and then replace each instrument with the full velocity samples.

It would save time because I could just duplicate the MIDI track I used for the basic instrument, and use it for the new "full basic" instrument because they'd both have the same keyswitches. Then I could finely tune the velocities.

I realize instruments like this would take up way more memory, but I plan to do only one instrument at a time after I'm done with the first draft using the basic instruments.

Of course there's still the performance stuff to put in, but at least this idea would help with the non-performance stuff.

Also, I know I could probably make my own instrument in the Giga Editor, but I don't quite know how yet.
