  • Pro ed correction soon?

    Hi Herb!

Just got the message from Bestservice in Munich that there was a little delay (about...). How long will it take to be corrected and delivered???

    THanks

    Matt

  • Hello Matt

    just phoned with best service.
    They are shipping now!

    best wishes
    Herb

  • Thanks for that, Herb. Glad to "see" you back!!! [[;)]]

Take care, and thanks again for your great work!

  • i'd like to clarify that: possibly a problem related to several vacancies and communication - the pro is out and shipping. manuals will be delayed (as usual, because it needs some time to get them printed) but are available as pdf-download for registered users.
don't try to place the whole complete orchestral package on a 250 GB-disk, they will only take 233 GB from the ~240 GB of the library (because harddisk-vendors like to count 1 GB = 1.000.000.000 byte instead of the real size of 1.073.741.824 byte)

  • Thanks for that warning Christian.

One question about the Pro Edition (forgive me if it has been answered elsewhere):
Do the Pro Edition samples REPLACE our First Edition samples, or will we need to buy additional hard drives and keep ALL samples. I'm waiting for Pro Edition EXS24, but I'm planning ahead......

    Regards - Colin

  • musos, the pro contains all instruments and samples from the first. additionally some articulations and playranges from already released instruments have been extended, some mapping-issues have been corrected and looped .wav-files replaced un-looped ones.
so there is no need to keep the first on your disk, except instruments you possibly have created by your own. although naming-convention of the samples will not change, the folder-structure had to be adapted.
