Hey, that's actually pretty cool! Still kind of vocoder-like, but it has a Freddie Mercury/Queen sound that I like.
Yes, Roberto is quite inventive: he did miracles of realism even with a popular low-cost jazz lib and a Yamaha BC3 (hint: listen to his "Orange breeze"), and now he rediscovered the Vocoder.
Logic Pro has a couple of built-in 20-bands Vocoders. I did some experiments trying to get an acceptable rendition of a Bach chorale ("Jesu meine Freude") using the "Church Choir" preset of the EXS-24 and spelling the chorale text through a domestic microphone while playing Bach's parts on the Midi keyboard sidechained with the Vocoder.
The result wasn't as bad.
With a good choir library it could be better (the EXS-24 built-in choir is a bit muddy)...
