How Would You Do This?

I've never done cell xfades, and I thought I'd make a patch to go from string trems to strings sus. I put one patch on top, one on the bottom, went to the PERF page and assigned a controller to the CELL XFADE slider. Nothing is happening, I hear both patches all the time.

What's the right way to do this?

You have to activate the crossfade function between the cells (the little x in the middle of the cells should be highlighted). If crossfade is deactivated the cells are only stacked and the crossfade slider has no affection.
