Dietz-- how best to make a solo brass instrument (for example, trumpet in C) sound like the ensemble instrument (for example, 3 turmpets). The ensemble has a completely different quality since it was recorded in a different manner (mics? distance? seating in the room?). Can you give some rough specifics about what you would do to make these sound more similar?
