Sometimes it's hard to remember (without searching through the manuals) the basic properties of all the instruments. How many velocity splits does it have? At which velocities do the splits occur? How many keyswitch dimensions does a combination instrument have? How much of the instruments range is covered? And so on...
Currently, there are empty text-only instrument banks embedded in the instrument file ("RELEASE TRIGGERS", "MEDIUM DYNAMICS", "COMBINATIONS", etc.) Perhaps, at the beginning of each of the instrument files, there could be similar text that gives some of the most relevant basic properties of the selected instrument.
It's not absolutely necessary, since there are manuals, but I think this might make things a little extra user-friendly without being too difficult to implement.
