Sure I'm just overlooking it, but where's the FORUM search?

The box at the upper right on the site doesn't filter forum results at all...is there a way to search the Forum? I'm on Safari.

Hi,

Currently the search only searches the Forum. So the box in the upper right is exatly what you are looking for. For an advanced search (also only the forum), you can visit this link advanced search

Hi Rainer, I'm on Safari (iMac 10.4.10). Thank for the advanced search link, works fine. But the box on the upper right doesn't filter at all. Cheers, Mark

I'm not sure if I understand what you mean. Basically everything that the search box from the upper right is returning, is from the forums, all of them. Ist that what you mean, that it doesn't filter for the forum group you are currently into?

Hi Rainer, User error - I'd been typing in a search term then hitting return. Clicking on the "Search" button DOES work (filtering for just the posts containing the search term). Note though that when hitting "return" with the cursor in the box, the page does make some kind of request to the server and the page reloads. This lead me to think it was responding to my search query (whereas apparently it is doing something else). Hope this helps.

No user error - usability (programmer) error! When pressing enter everyone would expect that the Search button is hit. I will work on that. For now, please press the Search button with your mouse.
