    These aren't digital in the sense that they have DA converters and a firewire cable or something, but they're the best IMHO.

    It's a pity AKG stopped making the legendary K-1000. It had the optional binaural-processor with digital inputs when it first hit the market, but this was quite some years ago.

    They are in the class of the Staxx "Earspeakers", just cheaper. Maybe you find them on eBay or a similar second-hand site.

    I own both items since over 15 years and still have to hear better and more detailed reproduction of an audio-source.
