sorry if this has been asked before but i can't find anything to indicate whether the samples have equalization applied either during recording or editing etc. IOW, are they "flat" other than the coloring of the equipment used?

Were VSL samples eq'd during production?

All samples of our Library undergo a meticulous post-production process, mainly to get rid of unwanted noises, but also to match the single recordings of an instrument with each other. There's no "sweetening" involved like it would be done during a typical music-production, but the final samples are not "flat" in the sense of the word.
