Hi! There...

In the Standard/Extended library list - it says Slow staccato or slow Legato in many places in the standard section.

I am looking at buying the standard versions of Orchestral Strings 1, 2, Woodwinds 1 and Brass 1.

I want to know what BPM's are included in the slow legato and staccato articulations as well as the fast ones - What limitations do the slow ones have? What is the tempo range?

You can use only slow or fast patches to reduce the RAM needed but I suggest you to try all the speed matrixes (repetition or legato).

On the standard edition, you don't have it. However, you'll be able to try the extended edition and if you have the Giga version, you'll have a refund on them.

10 minutes with the VSL VI and you'll see how powerful and how easy it is ...

There are no tempo restrictions, you can use any repetition patch at any tempo you like.
The labeling slow and fast refers to the original recording speeds.
So you can use the slow staccato repetitions for slower movements and the fast staccato repetitions for faster ones, to keep the original intention - but you don't have to. If the faster repetitions sounds better for you also in a slow context just take the faster ones (or vice versa).

The slower movements do have longer note length for each note, especially for the legato repetitions this obvious.
So the slower legato repetitions give you more flexibility regarding note length.

Generally the repetitions patches included in the standard version should offer you a very flexible repetition set.
