Hi! Everyone...
I currently have Pro tools LE 7. I am sure not all are familiar with its spec but its a very good seq. However it lacks certain MIDI features and also its not the best for syncing music to picture.
I am getting heavily into Film Scoring and need advice on choosing a new sequencer.
I understand Cubase SX 3 is quite good and cheaper to buy. I heard Nuendo 3 is pretty good.
What are your thoughts on Nuendo 3? The student edition is for around £700 and Cubase SX 3 is around £300.
Is it worth spending the extra money and getting Nuendo 3?
Can it do more ? Or getting Cubase for now seems a good choice.
Thanks.
I am not going to get rid of Pro tools - I love mixing in there and have been using it for 3 years.
Also, I will be using the Digi 002 Rack for the new sequencer as well - so please keep that in mind.
Best,
Tanuj.
