Not able to acces user area

Hello VSL staff,

apparantly I'm unable to acces the user area, let alone my own account data!
Here's what happens:

I type in my email adress as requested, and then my password. I press the Login button... and then the field return blank, I'm not logged in and have to type it in again... to no avail.

I have tried it with a faulty password or my forum-username, and on both tries an error message appears that user data does not excist or I have typed a wrong emailadress or password.

Both are correct, however, since I pressed the forgot password button and received a reminder e-mail in my inbox. And tada: the password I receive is the same I have typing in without any succes.

I hope I have explained the issue in an understanable manner, and I hope you can help me with this.

wesll, please check if you have recntly changed any security settings resp. allow browsercookies at least for vsl.co.at - we need them to keep you logged in during browsing the user area

Thank you... but where exactly do I check these settings?
When I go into the control panel and click on Internet=Options, I only see a button to clear the cookies, all other things seem unrelated to cookies.
