Perf.Tool - Legato

Hi again,

my first trial with the legato tool led into a disaster. trying string, horns or whatever: wenn I play a note in most cases I hear two notes with a distance of two octaves.

I adjusted the octave offset within the legato tool. Ok, setting the octave offset to 2, I hear only one tone, but two octaves to high.

What´s my mistake?

do this:
1. make sure the range represents the instrument .look at the range in giga and make sure it is right.
2. make sure the ghost note and the release note are NOT in the playing range.
3.the 8va offset is for controllers without 88 keys - i perfer to set it
so the middle C on giga lines up with my sequencer AND keyboard .
should be ready to go!!
also eperiment with the preset files provided.

rolf, i think you forgot to disable the respective inport of gigastudio.
say you route midi from the performance tool to nemesysport1 you have to set the midi in port1 to *none*
