Moderator, Please admonish Forum members to not "ambush" threads! I have started threads several times that I thought would be of general interest, only to find that I have to go through several posts on completely unrelated topics to find the answers or replies to my origonal question, if at all. Others may be waiting for answers to the posted question as well. If any members want to switch to a different subject, they should start a "new" thread.

Dear JCL2 - you are right, there is a thin line between a vivid, free-flowing discussion and hi-jacking a thread off-topic.
We don't want to see (or act like) a "forum-police" here, so we tend to be as liberal as possible. Sorry if you feel offended by this policy; we will try to keep an eye on it without getting too rigid.
Thanks for your understanding.

Thanks, Dietz. No offence taken. I did not mean to attack the Forum or any of it's members. I understand and fully agree with the policy as you stated it. Some of the members I may have appeared to chastise have also been helpful in the past, and for that I thank them. In my frustration in trying to understand everything, I'm afraid I momentarily forgot my own manners. Thanks for calming me down.
