  • Pro Edition Oboe?

    Hi Herb,

[[[[[[[[:D]]]]]]]] [[[[[[[[:D]]]]]]]] [[[[[[[[:D]]]]]]]] [[[[[[[[:D]]]]]]]] Great news about the release of the Pro Edition [[[[[[[[:D]]]]]]]] [[[[[[[[:D]]]]]]]] [[[[[[[[:D]]]]]]]] [[[[[[[[:D]]]]]]]] .I've just looked at the list of Performance Set articulations and am impressed by the inclusion of many unusual instruments. I was suprised to see no update to the Oboe though. Did you mention in a previous post that you were to include a French Oboe in the Pro Edition? - It would be superb if you could! Oh, and do you know roughly how long we have to wait for the Pro Performance Set? Sorry to be impatient, but I'm in the middle of a gig that would really benefit from it.

Thanks again for your excellent support.

    Andy B.

  • Hello Andy,

the Pro edition will be released as whole package at the same time - Cube and Performance set.
We are working hard, to finish the Pro edition as soon as possible.
The whole editing is done (many thanks to my wondeful team, which managed the stuff in time, although they had to edit 50.000 not planned extra samples)
Also the mapping is nearly done - testing - manifacturing - and go.

Searching for an french oboe player was not easy here in Vienna (you won't get jobs, if you do not the vienna oboe)

Finally we found an excellent musician - he studied in Germany.

The French Oboe is now scheduled for the Symphonic Cube,
but we could offer a download area for registered Pro users in fall, for the most important gigfiles (staccatos, sustains with vibrato, a peformane legato file)

    best wishes
    Herb

  • Thanks Herb,

That would be great if you could include a free download of the French Oboe for registered Pro users.

Thanks once again for an incredibly inspiring library.

    Andy B.

  • I would certainly benefit from a download. Can you tell us more about the Wienoboe? Is there more vibrato, and longer sustains?

    thanks
