  • VSL Product Lines

I Have owned VSL Libraries For Years (VI Special Editions & Synchronized Special Editions & Several Other VSL Products).

I will Say That They Are All Superb, As Has Been The Support Over the Past Several Years !!!

But I Have Been At A Standstill For The Last 2 Years Because Like So Many Other VSL Customers, I Can No Longer Figure Out What To Buy

The Product Line Differences Are Incomprehensible, Causing Many Of Us To Spend Months Thinking And Delaying And Rethinking Which Products To Buy

I Know The Differences Between   VI,   Synchronized VI,    Synchron Series,   BBO & Smart                    But I Have No Idea How To Distinguish Between The Sub-Groups ... Special Edition, Appasionata, Dimension, Etc.

At A Simpler Level, I Have Been Looking At WW I & II,  But I Don't Understand The 3 Columns ... Articulations & Full Library.  I Assume All Articulations On The Page Are Additional To Articulations In The Special Editions Series, And Are Included In The Price

And Worst Of All I Don't Know If I Am Throwing Money Away By Buying VI Series Instead Of Synchronized / Synchron.  It Seems The Limited Marketing Of "the Old VI ", And The Flood Of Marketing Of Synchron Are A Warning Of Sorts

    PLEASE HELP

    A Devoted But Frustrated Customer

    Hi Dave,

    Thanks for posting!

It's a lot to digest indeed, and we're doing our best to describe the different product lines on overview pages like this one (the first click on "PRODUCTS").

On our product pages, the Content subpage always lists ALL articulations and instruments contained in a product.

If you like the VI Sample Player, you cannot go wrong with VI Collections, as you will always get great crossgrade paths to the corresponding SYNCHRON-ized collections (existing and future SYNCHRON-ized products).

And of course these are always individual decisions, so feel free to contact us directly so we can find the right product for your situation: support@vsl.co.at

    Best,
    Paul
