Synchron Series Expression Maps Keyboard Issue
Yesterday I tried to add VSL expression maps in Cubase setting them to C0. While the maps are functional I can't anymore play the piano keyboard, only some lower oktaves, the middle oktaves are missing or the note is shifting to hiher regions in no regular order. Finally I have to disable the maps when recording and then re-enabling for modification. If someone may know a solution any help is appreciated. Peter

Hello Peter!
If you work with our Cubase expression maps, the root note in the Expression Maps Setup window should be set to C0. That's correct.
I'm not sure if I understand your problem. The Cubase expression maps we offer can only work correctly with the instruments they are made for. They will bring erratic results when used with a piano. If I didn't understand correctly, please let me know, which expression map you have loaded and which (Synchron Player) preset you are using it with.

Hello Andi
Thank you for willing to help.
To avoid any misunderstandings, I am using the digital midi keyboard to play the VSL instruments in the DAW, ntl I found the source of the issue, I have set the expr. map to C0, as a result all keys have been replaced: As usual problem exists between chair and keyboard 😒

Hello Peter!
I see. You have used the "Set Remote Keys" ("Tastenzuweisung") option in the Expression Maps Setup window. This will override the preset remote keys and will mess up many keys for live playing. Simply remove and re-load the expression map(s). Then the problem should be gone.
Best,
