Update, I actually was able to recreate this on the iMac Pro/Catalina machine, I've attached the Cubase Track Archive that just did it to this post to see if anyone else can recreate
SYU0020StringsU0020SoloU0020conU0020sordino.xml.zip-1696493215708-mbxfp.zip-
Cubase 12.0.40. ... iLok Synchron (1.2.171) ... only parameter that loads is Volume when reloading a file ... Reloading a Preset loads fine.
I am seeing the same problem (only Perform parameter that shows is Volume, and the background of the Synchron player is the default one instead of the library-specific one.)
I am on iLok Synchron 1.2.171. But some differences: I am still on Cubase 12.0.30 (build 286). Windows 10, 64GB RAM.

I see there was a hotfix related to "Recently saved user presets could not be opened" -- I am not sure if that refers to this issue or not. I tried upgrading to 1.2.174 but I am still seeing the same issue. (If 1.2.174 did fix this issue, perhaps because I saved my project using 1.2.171, it saved broken preset data and I need to load from a backup from before 1.2.171?)
[edit: I tried loading from a backup saved a few days ago using 1.2.174 and it seemed to load okay]

Seeing the same issue here. This is extremely frustrating. Last update was screwing up the default values. Now this one is only showing the volume slider. I'm on a PC, Windows 10, Cubase 11 Pro,
I really wish you guys would implement a feature where we were able to save our own slider presets, just like we used to on the previous sampler (Vienna Instruments Pro)

Hi all,
The hotfix for build v1.2.174 not only prevents user presets from becoming corrupt but also should allow the loading of previously inaccessible user presets again.
Careful: If a project is loaded with v1.2.171 and then this project has been re-saved while in a broken state, the metadata would be lost forever.
VSL Helper Tool: The helper converts eLicenser-protected data to iLOK. Once the data is saved in its converted status, the helper tool won't have to do it again.
Best regards,
Andreas

Hi all,
I think I stumbled across an easy fix. Same problem with the faders not appearing and default background. On each track first I select No VST Instrument. Then I added/activated a different one (in this case the VI Pro). Once that is visible remove it. Then add the Synchron Player and everything was back to normal. I don't think I was having issues within different versions of the Player. I just started using it and I'm pretty sure it's always been v1.2.174 but I could be mistaken.
