    VEP7 crashes every time I perform a specific operation.

    First, start the VEP server (64bit), add a new instance, right-click below the Master Bus, and select "insert plugin",

    Enter part of the plugin name to the right of the Search icon, and if it works correctly, only the relevant plugins will be displayed.

    However, VEP crashes the moment I type even a single letter.

     

    If I do not use Search and select a plugin from the list directly, it will start up with no problem.

     

    Reinstalling the newest version of VEP does not change the situation. I am using VEP7 in Windows 10. The plug-ins I have installed are all common ones such as kontakt, Massive, Sampletank or RealGuitar.

     

    Does anyone know of any solutions? Or please share the threads regarding to this problem.

    Hi, 

    We just checked on Win and OS X, no troubles here.

    Did you check with the latest VE Pro 7.1.1390 (just released)?

    Also, did you send us your crash report? What is your system ID or mail address (so we can find it)?

    Hi Paul

    thanks for quick reply.

    I was using 7.0.1120 and assumed this was the latest version, but I updated to the latest iLok cloud version, 7.1.1390, then it stopped crashing!
