I was looking for a decca tree setup as well as for supporting mics in MIR PRO.
I read a lot interesting stuff until I stumbled over this official pic on the website, featuring a decca tree setup as well as supporting mics inside the room.
I have no idea how that was done. Can anyone explain ho to add those supporting mics so far in the room?

Hi there,
this screen-shot was made from a "hand-built" version of MIR created for in-house testing purposes only. It was used for the proof-of-concept of the hybrid recording approach offered by Synchron Stage Vienna (i.e. real players "performing" together with virtual ensembles in the same acoustic environment). I assume that the picture was used to illustrate the idea.
Due to the fact that the formal restrictions of the Decca-tree setup (which relies on spaced omni mics) can't merge nicely into the highly mouldable, coincident (Ambisonics-based) MIR engine, this development wasn't meant to evolve into an actual product, though.
