My Vienna Suite plug-ins would not work with Pro Tools 11 because, according to PT 11, they are 32-bit, not 64-bit .aax format. When will Vienna update their .aax format to enable use with PT 11? These are very powerful plug-ins and it would be a shame not to use them in PT 11.

Vienna Suite and Pro Tools 11

Just downloaded the release and tried it out with PT11. Parametric EQ worked well with the built-in sample instrument and I expect the other plug-ins will, too. Vienna Suite is the only plug-in collection I'll use with my music, it's powerful, stable and it always delivers the sound I want.

Just to let you know, I still use Vienna Suite (see 2013 posts below), now with DP10 and Ableton Live Suite and it is still the best and easiest to use collection of plugins on the market, at least for me. I just mastered a live recording of Rachmaninoff's Prelude Op 32 No 9 in my home studio using the hybrid reverb and EQ and the results were impressive, especially with a piece of music that presents so many challenges in the mid-range. It's good to see a company that places a high priority on targeting the classical music community.

.. especially Vienna Suite's "Master EQ" has in fact become so second nature to me that I feel slightly crippled when I have to mix without it. 8-)
Mixing without Vienna Suite (Pro) would be sacreligious in my mixing sessionsπππ
Therefore, I endeavor to make absolutely certain I'm never without it πππ
