Questions about upgrade to Synchron CS
Hi to all I can't find some additional info on what this upgrade exactly is. 1. After upgrade from Chamber strings, will I own both libraries? 2. It says that if I own the standard Chamber library, the upgrade will give me the Synchron Chamber standard but can't find which exactly articulations belongs to standard and full library. 3. Synchron player is a player with integrated mir pro? We will be able to add mir pro libraries without the need of mir? Or I misunderstood things! Any explanation would be welcome

Well, full synchron-ized chamber strings doesn't exist yet. They have all the articulations of the standard VI mapped to match the whole synchron strings I articulations tree.
No, synchron player has nothing to do with Mir Pro, nor with MirX. The only similarity is for synchronized chamber strings, because to match the sound of the synchron strings I, they have an embedded Convolution reverb of the Synchron Stage.
The nice thing, is you may disable the IR and still use the lybrary totally dry, like the VI version.
I recommend you watch videos and tutorials for better understanding the new "wet samples" and "multi mic" concept. (reverb is partially incorporated in samples, because they were recorded on the real scoring stage like during live sessions)
