Epic Orchestra, how to open it?

I have the Epic Orchestra, but don't know how to use it. I run Logic Pro X 10.2.4 and VEP 6. I have Vienna Instruments , but I don't know how to open the Epic Orchestra, the files are all on my sample drive as .dat files. ??? Help would be appreciated!

Hi,

Please open the Directory Manager (find it in "Applications" (OS X) or "All Programs" (Win) => then "Vienna Instruments").

Remove all folders - then add all sample content again by drag and drop from your Finder/Explorer (the folder that contains the *.dat files).

More information about how the Directory Manager works can be found in the video "How to use the Directory Manager".

Of course your license for Epic Orchestra also needs to be available on the connected ViennaKey.

I did everthing you said to do, the license for Epic Orchestra is on the ViennaKey. So now how do i open the library?

Hi,

Make sure that you have installed Vienna Instruments & Vienna Ensemble, and then access the Epic Orchestra in Vienna Instruments.

When I open Vienna Instruments, nothing is showing. How do I open Epic Orchestra in a Vienna Instruments?

Hi, 

You should see the Epic Orchestra Presets, Matrices and Patches in your Browser, like in the attached screenshot. 

If that´s not the case, you can send (or post) screenshots of your Directory Manager, the Sample Content (in your Finder/Explorer) and your eLicenser Control Center showing the Epic Orchestra license: support@vsl.co.at
