Sorry, just to confirm, the upgrade price for existing Vienna Suite users is for November only?

Congratulations on VS Pro, it looks beautiful! I haven't yet branched out into surround sound territory, so I think I'll be sticking with Vienna Suite for now, but will make the upgrade one day. Perhaps one day I'll even learn what a goniometer does...

The upgrade price to VS Pro will increase after the introduction month.

Hi Paul,

I have the Vienna Suite Plug-Ins,  I like, and use them quite a bit.  although, I don't work in surround. 

 

Q.  Will the new Vienna Suite Pro be a good step up from the current Suite Version if I just work in Stereo ? 

Just want to make a decision regarding if I should upgrade to the new Pro version.

Well, I guess it's one of these things where you are just going to have to try it since your individual tastes and results may vary but, for anybody who has tried it, I'm wondering how's the signal loss (if any) when translating a suround sound track to stereo? 

One issue I have with some of the suround sound plugs that I've used is that I have to further process a track origianlly mixed for suround to stereo because I sometimes need to have a track in both formats.

Of course Vienna Suite Pro works and sounds great in stereo as well, that´s the basics for everything.

It´s just an additional feature that you CAN use these plug-ins very comfortably in surround mixes as well.

There are quite a few ways to downmix a surround mix, you could use the Matrix Mixer for such a task.

Thanks for the feedback. I will be purchasing the upgrade from VS to the VS-Pro soon. 

I'm sure they are excellent tools to have. and a step up from the Vienna Suite. Which I like a lot.
