How to install cab files downloaded instead of the download manager set up?

Hi everyone,

I had to do manual downloads from some elses computer using their internet system, as mine was not suitable as I had a limit of 12 gigs a month, so I could not do the usual download installation process.

I now have them, they've been sitting there for a while, and now it's school holidays, I can have the time to enjoy using them, but I'm just not sure how to install them using cab files. Thanks if anyone has any advice they can give me here.

Hello Steve, 

Make sure that you have all *.cab files in a folder, with the right "package.info" file in the same folder. 

Start the LIBRARY INSTALLER from your "Vienna Instruments" application/program Folder. 

As requested, point this Library Installer to the "package.info" file in the folder that contains your *.cab files and follow the installation dialog.

believe it or not I'm finally getting around to installing these amazing woodwinds!

I see when I go to "My VSL" that there is a new downloader. Do I have to use that downloader, or just the current one that I have in my programs?

As you like, the latest downloader is an updated version that also recognizes our latest products (Dimension Strings II).
