The issue was solved.
The issue began when I would save a file in VE Pro and the come back to loading it later, I would get this message " sorry the file was made with a newer version of VE Pro than this current one, please update VE Pro to the latest version.
What happened is te default page that it directed me to was simply the Vienna Ensemble page, not VE Pro, I inadvertantly downloaded VE with realizing that I had done so. Assuming I had downloaded the latest VE Pro.
The problem was solved when we realized the error.
Now as to whether I save a file in VE Pro and it will give me the same error, I am not sure, will keep you posted
