Hi folks,
I'm a very happy VSL user over here and have been using the Vienna Ensemble software for a few weeks - wanting to upgrade to the Pro version in order to Preserve my instances and load 3rd party VSTis in a separate 32bit instance.
The trial is going well, however I am experiencing some fairly high CPU/Asio meter load, and am currently running at 256 buffer at 48K. My audio card is a Lynx 2.
Having upgraded to an i7 Quad Core and recently going up to 24Gb RAM, and using a RAID (performance) setup for my samples - I thought that the performance would be a little better than it is.
Could anyone who has a similar system possibly help me out with getting the best performance out of my system. I'd really appreciate it.
All the best and thanks in advance!
Nick
