In Logic my bounce in place audio is bad if I have active MIDI controllers. Like MIDI volume and MIDI pan on the MIDI track I am bouncing.
I am bouncing a MIDI region to an audio track. The audio is bad when MIDI controller paramters are active.
I have two Mac Pro machines. I have VE Pro Server running on the slave and the MIDI and audio is good.
I have VE Pro Server running on a slave and these are the instruments I want to bounce in place. When I bounce in place with no MIDI controllers in the arrange window the bounce audio is good.
But when I add MIDI volume and automate it the bounce in place is affected. It is not distortion it sounds like badly processed audio. Somewhat distoted, crappy, like a sample rate error.
Any ideas?

VE Pro on slave with Logic bounce in place audio is corrupt when using MIDI controllers

Are you sure you're not automating parameters instead of MIDI controllers by the way? This phenomenon should only occur when bouncing with parameter automation on the track. You can also realtime bounce to avoid it. Logic just behaves strange in that it enables sample accurate parameter automation during offline bounces, even when it's turned off in its preferences.
