  • Does VE Pro/VI Pro work with Cubase's non real time audio mixdown

     Having had experience of other VST instruments fail to work properly with non real time audio mixdown in Cubase, I thought it best to get 100% verification that it does work flawlessly, my initial tests seem to indicate that all is OK.

    So to clarify the set up,

    Cubase on main PC networked to slave PC running VE Pro, then using "Export Audio Mixdown" (Export - audio engine - Real Time Export, NOT enabled) in Cubase to record all instrument from VI Pro,

    is this really 100% OK, or should I use real time export only?

    In Cubase offline export should be the better option. The only case where realtime bouncing is desired is when using parameter automation with VE Pro in Logic.
