    Getting a little confused reading the VEP manual. 

    I'm aiming to use my new mac pro as a slave to my old mac pro. I thought I'd be able to use VEP in a stand alone instance on the slave and route it via LAN to the host pro running Logic 9.  Will this work as is or does the slave computer need a copy of logic installed on it too ?

    Sorry for the dumb questions !

     You only need Logic on the master computer, all slaves just run VE Pro. You just just start VE Pro Server on the slave, and Logic will load the required  instances of VE Pro as you generate them in logic. You will need the eLicenser key in the slave.
