    Sometimes when trying to re-establish a connection to a slave machine, VE Pro 7644 will not recognize the preserved instances on the slave, so I am forced to exit the slave's server, re-start, and load the instances as "new."

    Edit: I rolled back to the previous VE Pro version and everything is fine again.

    What do you mean by not recognizing the preserved instance exactly? Do the preserved instances not show in the list of slaves in the plugin?

    Correct - they simply don't show up at all.

    No related changes have been done between 7553 and 7644. Is the same version of VE Pro installed on both master and slave systems?

    No changes were made to my configuration, and I had 7644 installed on all 3 machines.
