  • Looking to buy INSP:IR !!

     Hi there,

I am intersted in purchasing the INSP:IR  impulses for convolution reverb but still I would like to receive some more information about it. In your presentation I saw that "The multiple measurement positions offer you a choice of where to set your source and listener positions within a given room which gives you unique flexibility" .What exactly does it mean ? Is somehow acting like MIR but of course with a smaller package of actions ? You a have a virtual room in which you can place your instruments  in a "pre -given" space or how it works. It would be great if there is a possibility to have a few days of testing with this plug-in.Regarding the purchase , the package comes from Vienna or there is a chance to take it from North America ;I haven't seen it on Ilio !!

Thanks and looking forward to hearing news from you

    Hello Bodgan

First of all: The INSP:IRs are produced for the SUITE ConvolutionReverb.

So to set a position in the room works just as you do it with the IRs of the Suite: By panning with the PowerPan-Effect and by

adjusting the balance of wet/dry/correlation/predelay etc.

But as you metioned it: The INSP:IR Library comes with several IRs per room.

People recorded IRs with the following positions for example:

    • Speakers: altar / Mic-Position: 3rd row - facing back
    • Speakers: altar / Mic-Position: 3rd row - facing front
    • Speakers: altar / Mic-Position: balcony - facing back
    • etc.

Some more information and examples with music you can get here:

  •  Thanks Beat for your fast response. I'm browsing right now through your delightfull samples. And by the way , being traped all the time with work and composing,I've never got the chance to tell you that your presets Orchestra 123 works beautifull even in a notation programs such as Finale, Notion and Sibelius.I had the chance to test them on all of them. Amazing work and very handy website !!

    All the best
