My local VE PRO template has 5.5 GB of samples loaded into 7 Kontakt 3.5 instances. The vast majority of the RAM allocation is two instances with all of LASS loaded up. I tried firing up my template earlier today and both of the LASS instances loaded all of the samples and connected to my DP file without a hiccup but I can't get any MIDI into the instance and if I manually play the Kontakt keyboard it's not triggering any of the audio. The cpu meter at the bottom right reads 0% even after the engine is restarted. I tried reloading the K3 multi, reloading the VE instance, loading a new VE instance and trying to get a single K3 patch to respond, disconnecting and reconnecting the VE Plug, toggling decoupled of and on, loading the sequence into an empty DP file...all dead ends. What's strange is that If I load an empty DP project and connect to the instance it works perfectly but If I then go back to my template project the same problems all start up again. This happen to anyone else? Any ideas? Here's my specs:
Mac pro 2.8, 14 GB RAM, 10.6.1, DP 7.02, Kontakt 3.5, latest public beta VE PRO, 2408 mkIII.
